What made you want to commit to Texas A&M
"Going into the portal I knew what I wanted, and A&M checked all the boxes as far as coaches go. I knew they developed players, the culture is good here and it's only two to three hours from Frisco."
How has your transition to A&M been, has fellow Oklahoma State transfer Tallen Edwards helped?
"Everyone here including staff have been great with helping me transition. It's a lot to adjust to because A&M has many resources but it's a good thing. Gowing through the transition with Tallen has been amazing, all the other transfers and players have been helpful too."
What are your individual and team goals for this season?
"Everyone's team goal is to win a national championship. I want to go back to OKC and win it and I think this team is capable of doing that. Individually, this is my last season so just going out and leaving everything out on the field is my goal."
How does it feel to play softball back in Texas?
"It feels good. There is something about Texas pride and it's nice to be close to home."
How has the Aggie coaching staff been?
"They've been amazing. I've never felt better as a hitter, mentally and physically and I have coach Harger to thank for that. The coaches are tough and hard on us but it comes out of love, it's never too much or too little. They push us to be our best and they know what they want from us and will pull it out of us."
What is your favorite Aggie tradition?
"Midnight Yell. Going into it I didn't know what to expect. I went to traditions night, saw the yells and thought it was interesting. I've never been part of anything like it. Seeing Yells translate into football games and everyone coming together is exciting and I'm looking forward to learning them all."
What is your go to walk-up song?
"Usually, I pick someone that's really close to me and have them pick it. I mostly pick something country, not too slow that calms me, if I listen to rock I get too pumped. I've never had anything specific besides Lights Come on by Jason Aldean."
If you could only eat one pregame meal for the rest of your career, what would it be?
"Grilled chicken and a Caesar salad. It's my go to and something I've had for the past couple of year."
Which emoji best describes you on game days?
"The dancing disco guy. I don't dance a lot but it's the vibe it gives off and I thought of it immediately."
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three items would you take with you?
"I'd bring my dog to keep me company and some Mexican food in case I get hungry. Also a tent for survival."
