FORT WORTH – Mia Kupres of the Texas A&M women's tennis team captured the ITA Texas Regional Championship title, Tuesday at Friedman Tennis Center.

No. 22 Kupres took down Darya Schwartzman of Rice, 6-4, 6-4 to conclude her dominance through the week. She did not drop a set in six matches, outscoring her opponents, 72-28.

Her semifinals win qualified Kupres for the NCAA Singles Championship held in Orlando from Nov. 18-23. The Aggies have two more chances to earn bids with the ITA Central Sectional Championship at Mitchell Tennis Center and the ITA Conference Masters Championship, both held Nov. 6-9.
