Oct 16, 2025 | Football
NEW YORK – Texas A&M's offensive line was named to the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll, which recognizes the nation's top offensive line units.
The Aggies rank No. 2 nationally with just 2.8 tackles for loss allowed per game, while the offensive front has paved the way for a rushing attack that has lost only 8 total yards on 177 carries. The group also stands 24th nationally, allowing just 1.17 sacks per game, as Texas A&M's passing attack has emerged as one of the most improved in the country this season.
Texas A&M's offensive line has controlled the trenches, helping the Aggies rank 23rd nationally in time of possession at 32:15 per game, while producing five straight games with 400 or more yards of total offense.
The unit is among the most experienced in college football, entering 2025 with 161 combined career starts, the fifth-most among FBS programs. Captains Trey Zuhn III (43) and Ar'maj Reed-Adams (33) lead the veteran group, joined by Chase Bisontis (28), Reuben Fatheree II (22), Dametrious Crownover (21), Mark Nabou Jr. (20) and Koli Faaiu (19), each with 15 or more career starts.
The semifinalists for the Joe Moore Award will be announced on Nov. 5.
The award is named after Joe Moore, widely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in college football history, most notably for his work at Notre Dame and the University of Pittsburgh. Coach Moore sent 52 players on to the NFL including Bill Fralic, Mark May, Russ Grimm, Jimbo Covert, Andy Heck, and others. The Joe Moore Award trophy is the largest trophy in college football, standing at a height of seven feet and weighing in at more than 800 pounds. The perpetual trophy is made available for display by the winning university until the conclusion of the following college football season.
