Get to Know: Larisa Perez

Sophomore infielder Larissa Perez joined the Aggies prior to the 2025 season. The San Antonio, native, was ranked 54th in the 2025 recruiting class. She appeared in nine games for the Maroon & White last season.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from last season?
"Being less nervous. I want to be more confident with myself and not scared."
What are your individual and team goals heading into this season?
"Being more out there. Last year I was more to myself and shy. I was not that confident in myself and want to be this year."
Which memory from last year is your favorite?
"Beating Texas in the SEC tournament. We got up really early and stayed up throughout the whole game. There was never a moment where we weren't in the game."
How would you describe playing in front of the 12th Man?
"It's the best feeling ever. Everyone is there cheering, getting loud and it's just really fun."
Which Aggie tradition is your favorite?
"The Aggie ring. Being able to have something that shows your accomplishments is really special."
Who on the team is most likely to go viral on social media?
"KK Dement or Maya Perez. KK is a dancer and loves to dance. Mya is amazing and everyone loves her, she is the sweetest person ever."
Where in College Station is your favorite place to eat?
"Texas Roadhouse. I get the cheese fries as my entree and I love the rolls."
What are some of your hobbies outside of softball?
"I love to play volleyball and go to my family's house since they live here."
If you could design a uniform for a game, what would it look like?
"I would do maroon with white pinstripes."
What's your favorite part about game days?
"My favorite part is before when we are all in the locker room, listening to music, hanging out, going to eat and then going out to play hacky before the game."
If you had to go on a game show with someone from the team, who would it be with?
"I'm bringing Hailey Golden, she's smart and knows her stuff."
