- The 49 points were the most scored by the Maroon & White in Tiger Stadium, eclipsing the previous record of 39 points scored 50 years ago by Emory Bellard's 1975 Aggies.

- Senior DE Cashius Howell, the SEC sack leader with 7.5 entering the game, logged his third multi-sack game of the season with a pair of take-downs of Tiger QB Garrett Nussmeier in the first half. His 9.5 sacks are the most by an Aggie in a season since 2017 when Landis Durham had 10.5.
