No. 5 Equestrian Travels to UC Davis for Season Opener

DAVIS, Calif. – The No. 5 Texas A&M equestrian team opens its 2025-26 campaign on the road Friday, Oct. 10, at noon, to face UC Davis.
Friday's contest marks the fourth all-time meeting between the Texas A&M and UC Davis. The Maroon & White holds a perfect record in the series, earning victories in each of the previous matchups. The last meeting saw Texas A&M claim a 13-4 win highlighted by a sweep in Reining and an MOP performance from returner Mattie Gustin.
Texas A&M recently held its annual Maroon & White scrimmage. The squad returns 36 riders from last year's roster, including three NCEA All-Americans in Isabelle Gozalez (Reining), Gustin (Reining), and Kate Egan (Fences).
