No. 4 Equestrian Falls at No.7 SMU, 14-6

DALLAS – The No. 4 Texas A&M equestrian team fell to No. 7 SMU, 14-6, Thursday afternoon at the Dallas Equestrian Center.
The Aggies (3-3, 1-2) secured one point in Fences as Grace Shipman rode Gogo to an 81.5. In Horsemanship, the Maroon & White added two more points from Kaitlynn Bloom (76) and Kaylynn Heitman (75.25) sending the team into the break trailing 7-3.
After the break, Texas A&M claimed the 3-2 victory in Flat behind points from Kate Egan (73.5), Shipman (78.5) and Devan Thomas (78) to bring the final to 14-6

The Aggies return home to host No. 3 South Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 12 p.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
