Nov 30, 2025 | Volleyball
INDIANAPOLIS – The Texas A&M volleyball team was selected to host the opening two rounds of the NCAA Tournament as it earned a No. 3 seed. The Aggies open their campaign Friday versus Campbell at Reed Arena with first serve set for 6:30 p.m.
The Maroon & White claimed their third-straight tournament berth under the leadership of head coach Jamie Morrison, while also securing their first hosting opportunity since 2019. If the Aggies advance in their tournament opener, they will face the winner of No. 6 TCU/SFA the next day.
Texas A&M enters the NCAA postseason following its best regular-season slate since 1984 (22-3), and an overall record of 23-4. The conference schedule was also one for the record books, finishing second in the SEC with a 14-1 ledger which marked the programs highest winning percentage in league play since joining the conference in 2012.
The Maroon & White have been battle tested throughout the year, picking up five ranked wins including their highest ranked home victory when they downed then-No. 2 Texas in a five-set thriller. The Aggies opened their postseason campaign at the reintroduced SEC Tournament, where they reached the semifinals after sweeping Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals.
Leading Texas A&M into the NCAA Tournament is a conference-high four All-SEC First Team selections in Logan Lednicky, Ifenna Cos-Okpalla, Maddie Waak and Kyndal Stowers. The group helped push the Aggies to new heights in the national rankings, as they reached a program-high No. 6 and have held it throughout the entire month of November.
Tickets for the first two rounds become available Monday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through the 12th Man Foundation.
Fans can watch Texas A&M's opening round matchups live at Reed Arena or on ESPN+.
