Dec 01, 2025 | Softball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M softball head coach Trisha Ford released the 2026 non-conference schedule, which includes two home tournaments and appearances at the nationally recognized Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational and Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
Texas A&M opens the 2026 season by hosting the Aggie Classic from Feb. 5-8, highlighted by a matchup with national runner-up Texas Tech on Feb. 7. The Aggies then hit the road for back-to-back weeks, starting with the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational Feb. 13-15, followed by the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic Feb. 19-22. Both events are among the nation's premier tournaments, and the Maroon & White will face five 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, including three Women's College World Series teams, across the two weeks. The trip to Clearwater, Florida, includes matchups with Oklahoma State and Duke. In Cathedral City, California, A&M will take on WCWS qualifiers Oregon and UCLA, along with NCAA qualifiers Nebraska and Duke for a second straight week.
The Aggies return home to host the Texas A&M Invitational from Feb. 26 to March 1. The event opens with a meeting against Houston, followed by two contests each with Kennesaw State and Louisiana, before wrapping up the weekend with a single game against Saint Mary's. A&M wraps up tournament play at the San Marcos Show Down on March 6-8, with matchups against Tarleton State, Saint Francis and Texas State.
Midweek games include home matchups with Louisiana Tech, Sam Houston and Baylor.
