
Aggies to Host Miami in First Round of College Football Playoff

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M earned the No. 7 seed and is set to host No. 10 Miami on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. CT on ABC in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
The matchup marks the Aggies' first postseason playoff game at Kyle Field.
Ticket sales open to the public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 12 and will be available for purchase HERE .
Student ticket pull begins Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8 a.m. CT for sports pass holders, with a priority deadline of 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 10. All sports pass holders will access the ticket pull site simultaneously due to the condensed timeline. Tickets will be allocated randomly based on student classification for those claiming during the 48-hour window and the time of purchase within that period does not impact seat assignment.
Student tickets are $25, and each student may purchase one guest ticket for $100. Should tickets remain after Dec. 10, students without sports passes may purchase beginning Thursday, Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. CT. Sports pass holders may still pull tickets at that time but will be assigned seats based on remaining availability rather than classification.
Donors and season ticket holders will have until Monday, Dec. 15 to submit their requests for CFP quarterfinal, semifinal, and national championship games.
Texas A&M and Miami are meeting for the sixth time overall and third time at Kyle Field, while the Aggies won 17-9 when the two teams met in Aggieland in 2022.
The 2025 season marks the Aggies' first appearance in the College Football Playoff, while the Hurricanes are making their first appearance as well.
The winner will advance to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl to face No. 2 Ohio State on Dec. 31 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Texas A&M finished the regular season 11-1, the program's most regular season wins since 1992. The Aggies were a perfect 7-0 for the first time at Kyle Field and set a single season home attendance record, averaging 106,159 fans per game.
