No. 17 Aggies Prep for Chevron Collegiate

HUMBLE, Texas – The No. 17 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to take part in the Chevron Collegiate at the Golf Club of Houston Feb. 24-25.
The Aggies are fresh off tying for fifth at the Moon Golf Invitational to begin the spring season. Freshman Vanessa Borovilos led the team by taking home a share of 10th.
Head coach Gerrod Chadwell is bringing a lineup featuring 2024 All-SEC Second Team selection Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio and 2024 Rolex Junior First Team All-American Borovilos.
Also making the trip are Kynadie Adams, Lauren Nguyen and Mia Nixon. The five golfers are the same five that played at the Moon Golf Invitational. The field is highlighted by two additional SEC foes in Mississippi State and Arkansas. The Razorbacks are ranked No. 1 in the country while the Bulldogs are No. 12.
The tournament begins with 36 holes of action Monday followed by the final round on Tuesday. The first round begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live stats can be found at scoreboard.clippd.com.
