No. 15 Aggies Host Midweek Action Against Rice
Mar 10, 2025 | Men's Tennis
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 15 Texas A&M men's tennis team hosts Rice in midweek action Tuesday night with a 6 p.m. first serve at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
The Aggies (10-5, 4-1 SEC) are continuing its homestead after two conference victories at Mitchell against Auburn and Florida.
Sophomore Tiago Pires heads the charge for the Aggies and is currently on a seven-match winning streak and undefeated in conference play. Junior Togan Tokac follows closely behind, owning a five-match winning streak. Senior Alan Magadan has yet to drop a match this season since donning the Maroon & White. Senior tandem of Luke Casper and Giulio Perego have proved instrumental in doubles play, unrivaled since paired together versus Auburn.
The Owls (10-4) have not won a match on the road all season. The two teams met in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last May, with the Aggies pulling off a 4-0 sweep at home. Casper, Perego and Pires all tallied singles points to aid in the victory.
Fans can watch the match through the live stream or follow with live stats.
