No. 16 Women’s Golf Takes on Clover Cup

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The No. 16 Texas A&M women's golf team is set to take part in the Clover Cup at Wigman Resort March 10-12 for the third tournament of the spring season.
Head coach Gerrod Chadwell is bringing a lineup that features the SEC Golfer of the Week from two weeks ago in Vanessa Borovilos. The freshman earned her first collegiate victory at the Chevron Collegiate with a stunning 15-under 201, which was the second lowest 54-hole mark in program history.
Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio is the highest ranked collegiate golfer on the squad at No. 29 in the country and was also named SEC Golfer of the Week this season. Rounding out the lineup are Kynadie Adams, Lauren Nguyen and Sky Sudberry. Mia Nixon will compete as an individual
The Aggies finished runner-up as a team at the Chevron Collegiate and are seeking their first team title this season. They are the second-highest ranked squad in the 12-team field behind No. 8 Arizona State.
The 54-hole tournament begins with 18 holes on Monday and tees off at 9:16 a.m. Live stats for the event can be found at scoreboard.clippd.com.
