WHERE THE AGGIES ARE NATIONALLY
Texas A&M earned its first national No. 1 ranking in program history after being named the consensus No. 1 by all four nationally-recognized polls in Week 10. The Aggies have the No. 1 RPI in the nation, while their 19 wins against top 50 RPI teams are the most in the country. As of Tuesday, the Aggies rank fourth in the nation in hit-by-pitches (51), 8th in on-base percentage (.452) and 14th in batting average (.348), while their 317 total runs are 17th-most in the country. The Aggie pitching staff boasts a 2.36 ERA, ranking 16th in the NCAA and their WHIP of 1.19 is 23rd best. Individually, Mya Perez ranks No. 6 in the country with a .584 on-base percentage and No. 11 with 57 RBI. Amari Harper ranks ninth in hit-by-pitch (14) and No. 20 in on-base percentage (.559).
AGGIES IN THE SEC
The Aggies are in first place through six weekends of SEC action with an 11-3 record, while riding a six-game SEC winning streak matching a program best set in 2017. Texas A&M's pitching staff paces the league with the fewest hits allowed (80), while ranking second holding opposing hitters to a .223 batting average. Offensively, the Maroon & White rank first in on-base percentage (.423), second in batting average (.310) and third in runs scored (90) and doubles (19). Individually, Amari Harper leads the conference in batting average (.600), on-base percentage (.696) and hit-by-pitches (5), while ranking second in slugging percentage (1.133). Kennedy Powell's five stolen bases is tied for a league best, while Emiley Kennedy has kept opposing hitters in check with the SEC's third-best opposing batting average at .179. Texas A&M has won four-of-five series this season, including its first ever sweep of No. 6 LSU, a doubleheader sweep at No. 16 Georgia and a three-game series sweep at No. 22 Auburn. The Aggies claimed the home series over No. 24 Alabama, while taking only one game in a three-game set to No. 4 Florida at Davis. Since joining the SEC in 2013, the Aggies have swept a conference opponent on the road only five times — and they've done so in every road series this season. Under Ford, the Maroon & White have won 15-of-21 SEC series and have finished in the league's final standings five positions higher than what it was picked in each of the season's SEC coaches preseason poll.
ROAD WARRIORS
