Wooley Named SEC Player of the Week

BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M Koko Wooley has been named the SEC Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. The weekly honor is Texas A&M's sixth this season, marking a program record.

Wooley slashed .700/.727/.900 in the series win at Missouri, while leading the Maroon & White with seven hits, nine total bases and three stolen bases. The senior moved to No. 5 all-time on Texas A&M's career hit list with 233 total hits, while ranking No. 7 all-time with 155 runs.

The La Porte, Texas, product went 3-for-4, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 R, 1 SB in game one of the series to help the Aggies register their 15th come from behind victory. In game two of the doubleheader, Wooley was 2-for-3 at the dish with one double, one RBI, one run and stole multiple bases in a game for the second time this season.

Wooley ranks fifth in the league with five stolen bases and sixth with five doubles in SEC action. The weekly honor is Wooley's second of her career and first since the 2023 season.
