McMillan Adds Texas Transfer Vinson to 2025-26 Roster

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's basketball coach Bucky McMillan announced another key piece to the Aggies' 2025-26 roster with the addition of Texas transfer Jamie Vinson on Tuesday.
The 6-11, 225-pound Vinson played sparingly in his lone season with the Longhorns but was effective when he was on the court posting 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds while averaging less five minutes of action in nine games.
An Austin native, Vinson played high school basketball at Virginia's Oak Hill Academy. He was ranked as the No. 217 overall prospect, the No. 47 power forward, and the No. 8 player in Virginia in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranked Vinson as the No. 52 power forward and the No. 10 player in Virginia.
