Apr 29, 2025 | Track and Field
NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Texas A&M track & field's Carter Bajoit was named to the inaugural Spring Allstate NACDA Good Works Team Tuesday, recognizing 20 standout student-athletes across collegiate Spring sports for their exceptional achievements in community service, athletics and academics.
Allstate and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) partnered in the initiative to recognize and honor student-athletes who demonstrate levels of volunteerism and civic engagement that are above and beyond their success and achievements in the classroom and competition.
The team includes men and women from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and NAIA – representing spring sports including baseball, softball, tennis, golf, lacrosse and track and field. Honorees were selected from over 200 nominees for championing causes like education, mental wellness and expanding access to nutritious food.
The Woodlands, Texas, native is a standout student-athlete and three-year team captain, known for his leadership and commitment to service. He leads weekly Bible studies through Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), helped raise $36,000 for a mission trip to Panama, and launched PROJECT CHRISTMAS to support over 300 people in Houston each year.
From mentoring youth at the Boys & Girls Club to serving in the Dominican Republic, Carter's impact earned him a spot on the 2024 SEC Community Service Team and the honor of speaking at Texas A&M's athletics graduation ceremony.
Bajoit concluded his collegiate track & field career following the conclusion of the indoor season, where he helped lead the men's team to its first SEC Indoor Championships title. He and 19 of his teammates will be honored at the programs senior day during the Alumni Muster meet Saturday, May 3, at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
