Kegley Announced as Senior Associate Athletic Trainer

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Andrew Kegley was hired as the Texas A&M men's basketball team's senior associate athletic trainer, the school announced.
Kegley returns to Aggieland after three seasons as the men's basketball athletic trainer on Mississippi State's Sports Medicine staff since 2022-23. During his time in Starkville, the Bulldogs picked up three straight seasons of 21 wins, secured three consecutive NCAA Tournament bids and were ranked among the nation's top 25 during each of his three seasons with the program.
Prior to his time in Starkville, Kegley served as the head athletic trainer at Arkansas-Little Rock where he worked primarily with men's basketball during the 2021-22 season in addition to working with the Texas A&M men's and women's basketball programs as an intern athletic trainer.
Kegley earned both his bachelor's in health and exercise science and his master's in athletic training from Bridgewater College. During his time in Bridgewater, Kegley worked with over 20 men's and women's NCAA DIII athletic programs. Kegley also was a member of Bridgewater College's football team during his first year of undergrad.
While obtaining his collegiate degrees, Kegley was able to partake in internships with the Alabama men's basketball team, the Tennessee Titans and with Dr. Michael Ray of Barbell Medicine.
A native of Wytheville, Virginia, Kegley obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification during the spring of 2019.
