
Reed-Adams, York Recognized as AP Preseason All-Americans

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M offensive lineman Ar'maj Reed-Adams and linebacker Taurean York were tabbed as Associated Press Preseason All-Americans. Reed-Adams was named to the first team and York earned second-team honors.
The duo, who both serve as captains for the football team, were recognized as Walter Camp Preseason All-Americans and named to the media Preseason All-SEC Team.
York, entering his third season as a starter, has garnered a number of preseason accolades, including selections to the Butkus Award, Chuck Bednarik Award and Lott Impact Trophy Watch Lists. Last season, the junior ranked 12th in the SEC and led the team with 82 tackles. The Temple, Texas native ranked second on the team last year with 9.5 tackles for loss and led the Aggies in tackles in seven games, including six SEC matchups.
In 12 starts last season, Reed-Adams helped push the Aggie rushing attack to 26th in the country and second in the SEC with 195.5 yards per game. The DeSoto, Texas native allowed just one sack last season and led the team with the fewest pressures allowed among players with more than 200 pass blocks. The graduate adds to his list of preseason accolades after he was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List.
The Aggies are set to begin the 2025 season at Kyle Field Saturday, August 31 at 6 p.m. against UTSA on ESPN.
