TEXAS A&M QUOTES
Senior defender Isabella Yakel
On the second half and if any changes were made to hold UTRGV without a shot...
"We wanted to come together as a unit and make sure everyone is going 100%, closing down every ball, and right when we lose it, closing down within our rule of six seconds. It takes the whole team to be doing this and then having the organization behind, helping out by communicating."
Junior forward Taylor Jernigan
On what her two preseason matches taught her...
"It taught us that we got some pretty good chemistry. I think we have surprised a few people with how well we played together and the chemistry that we have and how well we're doing and how many goals we're scoring."
