Zuhn Named to Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Watch List
Sep 30, 2025 | Football
DALLAS – Texas A&M offensive lineman Trey Zuhn III was named to the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Watch List, the award's committee announced Tuesday.
The award is the first college football honor to focus primarily on a player's leadership, both on and off the field.
Zuhn III, the two-time team captain, earned All-SEC Third Team honors last season and leads the team with 41 career starts at left tackle. The fifth-year senior helps anchor an offensive line that paves the way for an Aggie offense to be ranked No. 23 nationally with 463.8 yards per game.
Off the field, Zuhn III graduated from Texas A&M in December 2024 with a degree in finance and a 2.99 GPA. He is currently enrolled in continuing education. Beyond the classroom and the football field, Zuhn III has shown a strong commitment to giving back to the community. He has volunteered with The Big Event, the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation, where he joined fellow students in making a positive impact across the Bryan–College Station area. His service also includes time with the Brazos Valley Food Bank, helping to provide meals to those in need, and participation in a food drive benefiting the Just One Project, a Nevada-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing food insecurity. Through these efforts, Zuhn III has demonstrated the same discipline, leadership and team-first mindset in the community that he displays on the field.
Twenty semifinalists will be selected by a subset of the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Selection Committee and announced on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Three finalists will then be named for the award on Monday, Dec. 15. The winner will be announced at the award ceremony at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on April 16, 2026.
