
No.7 Aggies Take on Folds of Honor Collegiate

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The No. 7 Texas A&M women's golf team will look to continue its dominant start to the 2025-26 season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at the American Dunes Golf Club Sept. 8-10.
The Lineup
Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell will be bringing a lineup that is led by Cayetana Fernandez Garcia-Poggio and Vanessa Borovilos who placed first and second in last week's tournament, respectively. Fernandez Garcia-Poggio secured her third collegiate individual title, posting an 8-under 208 at the Carmel Cup and Borovilos made a strong start to her sophomore campaign shooting 7-under 209. The duo ranks No. 26 and 41 on the World Amateur Golf Ranking, respectively, to lead the team.
Also making the trip, coming off their first collegiate starts and tying for 14th to begin the year are Brynn Kort and Natalie Yen, the two talented freshmen contributed to the Aggies' 26-stroke Carmel Cup win by finishing 3-over 219. Junior Sky Sudberry also logged a top-20 finish at the Carmel Cup, taking home a share of 16th and will round out the five-player lineup going to the Folds of Honor Collegiate.
Texas A&M is seeking to make history by winning the first two tournaments of a season for the first time in program history.
The Format
