NORMAN – The Texas A&M women's basketball team dropped an 85-58 decision to the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners Thursday inside the Lloyd Noble Center.

Lauren Ware led the Maroon & White with 15 points and seven rebounds. Ny'Ceara Pryor added 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals. Fatmata Janneh tacked on 10 points, four rebounds and two steals.

The Aggies (8-9, 1-7 SEC) led for seven minutes in the first quarter but ultimately trailed 23-18 at the first break following a 9-0 run by the Sooners. Texas A&M scored the game's first five points and would hold four-point leads on three occasions, including 18-14.

The Sooners opened a 46-27 halftime advantage behind a 19-0 surge midway through the second quarter. The Aggies had six steals in the first half, including two by Pryor.

Oklahoma (17-4, 5-3 SEC) stretched its advantage to 31 points late in the third quarter before Salese Blow and Janneh hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cut the deficit to 67-42. The Sooners hit a late three to lead 70-42 heading to the last stanza.

The Aggies outscored Oklahoma, 16-15, in the fourth quarter, outrebounding the Sooners, 12-8.
