BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 14 Texas A&M men's tennis team hosts the No. 13 Georgia Bulldogs and the Vanderbilt Commodores at the Mitchell Tennis Center this weekend. The Georgia match begins at 6 p.m. on Friday while the Vanderbilt contest starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Aggies (9-3, 2-0 SEC) are coming off a successful opening weekend of conference action, picking up wins over the Ole Miss Rebels, 4-3, at home and the Kentucky Wildcats, 6-1, in Lexington. Senior Togan Tokac, junior Kholo Montsi, sophomore Theo Papamalamis and freshman Markus Molder all went a perfect 2-0 in singles action last weekend.

Georgia (9-1, 2-0 SEC) also had a perfect SEC opening weekend, picking up wins over LSU, 4-0, and Florida, 4-1. The Bulldogs' one loss this season came on the road against No. 6 TCU, 4-1. When the two teams met last season, the Bulldogs edged out the Aggies, 4-3. Papamalamis is the only current player to grab a singles point in the match.

Vanderbilt (9-3, 1-1 SEC) split its first conference matches, losing to Mississippi State, 4-3, and defeating Tennessee, 4-2. Vanderbilt's three losses have come against top 10 teams - Mississippi State, Virginia and Wake Forest. Last season, the Aggies topped the Commodores, 4-3. Papamalamis and Tokac both picked up singles wins.
