COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M's women's basketball head coach Joni Taylor and UCLA's National Championship winning head coach Cori Close are set to host an exclusive VIP experience and auction May 6 at the Stella Hotel.
All ticket and auction proceeds will support NIL opportunities for the Texas A&M women's basketball program. Exclusive memorabilia, unique experiences and more will go to auction the week leading up to the event with the auction closing at 8:30 p.m. May 6.
The evening of May 6 will begin at 6 p.m. with a VIP private cocktail hour with coach Taylor and Close. At 7 p.m., the Beyond Basketball portion of the event will take place to wrap up the evening with Close.
Taylor and Close both coached together on the 2021 Women's U19 USA National Team, where they led the Americans to gold with a perfect 7-0 record. Close is fresh off guiding the UCLA Bruins to the 2026 National Championship and a 37-1 record.
