BIRMINGHAM – Shiv Parmar of the Texas A&M men's golf team earned SEC All-Freshman Team recognition the conference announced Thursday.

Parmar enters the NCAA Bryan Regional slotted No. 103 in the Scoreboard National Rankings powered by Clippd. He has spent entire rookie campaign ranked in the top 200, including a season-best No. 101.

The Selma, Texas, native owns three top 10 finishes, including a season-best seventh place showing at the SEC Championship last month. In September, he placed eighth at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational and ninth at the 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational.

Parmar finished in the top 20 at six of his eight tournaments. He owns a 69.7 adjusted scoring average and 476-161-26 W-L-T.
