COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M track & field's Michael Moiben won the men's 5,000m on the opening day of the Alumni Muster Friday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

Moiben set the tone for the Aggies on the first day of action at the Alumni muster, after crossing the line in 13:57.33 to ensure his win. The mark debuted the freshman at No. 7 in the A&M all-time performers list and broke the meet record in the event. Aiden Gonzalez-Rodiles clocked 14:53.43 which was good for sixth.
