COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M softball team’s seven-player transfer class earned a consensus top-five national ranking, checking in at No. 4 by Softball America and No. 5 by D1 Softball.
The transfer class brings a boost of experience to the Aggies’ 2027 roster with the addition of six seniors or graduates while fortifying the pitcher, catcher, infield and outfield positions. Four of the newcomers advanced to the NCAA postseason last year, including two that played in the 2026 Women’s College World Series.
Joining the Aggies were pitchers Maddy Azua (Texas State) and Nikki Bodeux (Houston), catcher Kennedy Miller (Arkansas), infielders Atalyia Rijo (Arkansas) and Trinitey Spencer (Texas Tech) and outfielders Maddox McKee (LSU) and Jordee Wilkins (Houston).

Last November, the Aggies’ seven-member freshman signing class was ranked No. 8 nationally by Softball America and D1 Softball. The loaded group featured five signees ranked in the top 100 nationally, including four in the top 50. Six signees earned four-star rankings, while two were the top-ranked recruit in their state. Darby Burnett (Bentonville, Arkansas), Taylor Hampton (Mesa, Arizona), Presley Kilgore (Emory, Texas), Aubrey Moore (Acworth, Georgia), Abreya Perry (Valley Center, Kansas), Reagan Rohrlich (The Woodlands, Texas) and Milan Torres (Long Beach, California) make up A&M's 2026 signing class.
The 14 newcomers join a Texas A&M softball team that compiled a 38-19 overall record last season and earned a No. 15 national seed in the 2026 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. The Aggies return 10 letterwinners, including first-team All-American Mya Perez and NFCA All-Central Region honorees Sydney Lessentine and Ariel Kowalewski.
