COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Football will wear specialty camouflage uniforms when the Aggies host Arkansas on Oct. 3 at Kyle Field.
The ‘Honor and Support’ uniforms feature a desert camouflage design inspired by the khaki uniforms of the Corps of Cadets, the dried grasslands and the rolling hills of Aggieland. A university identification stencil pays homage to Texas A&M’s military heritage, while the uniform’s patch incorporates elements inspired by the Aggie Ring, including the star and laurel leaf. Additionally, the patch’s circular design pays tribute to the wheels of the Spirit of ’02 field gun.
The game will also serve as Texas A&M’s celebration of the university’s 150th anniversary.
Replica versions of the ‘Honor and Support’ jerseys, along with other camo-inspired sideline apparel, will be available for purchase beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday at 12thManShop.com.
