Banner Drop: How History Was Made

Eight months after the title, the 2025 national championship banner went up to the Reed Arena rafters. Friday night, No. 8 volleyball raised it in front of 6,278 fans, the fourth-largest crowd in program history, then swept Arkansas State to celebrate.

VOLLEYBALL: Aggies Sweep Their Own Invitational
The defending champs went 3-0 on banner weekend at the Texas A&M Invitational, taking down GCU, Arkansas State, and Cal Poly. Natalie Ring hit double figures in kills in all three matches and passed 800 for her career. It marked the third-straight year the Aggies have swept their own invite, moving to 3-2 going into the Big Ten/SEC Challenge. Link

VOLLEYBALL: The Title Run Gets Its Own Documentary
It’s official: the first national title in program history is getting the full documentary treatment, debuting Sept. 13. The film takes the 12th Man inside volleyball’s 2025 run, from the belief that built it to the sweep of Kentucky that sealed it. Mark the date. Link

TENNIS: Five Aggies Are in the US Open Field
The pro pipeline hits Flushing Meadows. Valentin Vacherot (No. 22 seed) and Arthur Rinderknech (No. 26) headline the men’s singles draw, with Austin Krajicek and Jackson Withrow in doubles. Make it five: Mary Stoiana, the most decorated player in Aggie history and a 2025 grad, fought through qualifying to reach her first grand slam main draw, topping Yue Yuan in three sets. Link
