AUSTIN – The Texas A&M soccer team closed out the preseason with a 1-0 loss against the Texas Longhorns in Saturday’s exhibition match at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The Longhorns scored a late first-half goal to take a 1-0 lead into the intermission. In the opening stanza, Texas outshot the Aggies 11-7. The Maroon & White had a solid half in goal from Makenna August who made four saves, along with one off top of the goalline by defender Blake Hughes.
