COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's golf standout Wheaton Ennis has been named to the Third Team of both the Golfweek and Golf Channel preseason All-America Teams ahead of the 2026-27 season, both publications announced this week.
Ennis enters his junior season coming off a standout campaign last season, where he earned him Golfweek All-America Honorable Mention recognition and PING Third-Team All-America honors.
Ennis finished the season ranked No. 29 nationally while posting a 68.83 scoring average and reached as high as No. 53 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Ennis and the Aggies will look to continue its postseason success after securing its 51st NCAA postseason appearance in 2025 and advancing to the NCAA Championship for the fifth consecutive season.
The 2026-27 season begins on Sept. 14 at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup in Frisco, Texas.
