COLLEGE STATION –Texas A&M softball head coach Trisha Ford announced the Aggies’ six-game fall schedule, which is highlighted by home matchups against Texas and Texas State.
All six fall contests will be played at Davis Diamond. In addition to games against the Longhorns and Bobcats, the Aggies will face Grayson College, McLennan Community College, Murray State College (Okla.) and Temple College. Admission to all fall games is free. Parking and concessions information will be announced prior to the games.
Ford’s fifth team in Aggieland opens its fall slate Sept. 30 against the Lady Aggies of Murray State College, with first pitch set for 6 p.m. Murray State advanced to the 2026 NJCAA Division II Women’s College World Series and finished with a 66-3 record.
Play continues Oct. 9 when the Maroon & White tangle with the 2026 NJCAA Division I runner-up Temple College Leopards at 5:30 p.m. The McLennan Highlanders, who also advanced to the NJCAA Division I Women’s College World Series in 2026, come to town for a 6 p.m. matchup Oct. 22.
The Texas State Bobcats, who earned a spot in the 2026 NCAA Gainesville Regional, face off against the Aggies in a 5:30 p.m. clash Oct. 30. Next up are the Grayson Vikings, who come to Davis Diamond for a 5:30 p.m. first pitch Nov. 4. The Vikings strung together a 20-game winning streak on their way to a 47-12 record in 2026.
Texas A&M concludes fall play with a 7 p.m. battle against Texas on Nov. 6. The two longtime rivals have split four meetings since the Longhorns followed the Aggies to the SEC in 2025. Last season, Texas won the series in Austin, but the Aggies snapped the Longhorns’ 29-game winning streak with a victory in the finale.
The Aggies compiled a 38-19 overall record last season and earned a No. 15 national seed in the 2026 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. Texas A&M returns 10 letterwinners, including first-team All-American Mya Perez and NFCA All-Central Region honorees Sydney Lessentine and Ariel Kowalewski. The Maroon & White also welcomed 15 newcomers, with a freshman class ranked No. 8 nationally and a transfer class considered a consensus top-five haul.
