AUGUSTA, Ga. – Texas A&M punter Tyler White was selected as one of "Ray's 8" for Week 2, as announced by the Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award committee on Monday.
In the win over Arizona State, White punted four times for an average of 53.0 yards, his highest single-game average since his collegiate debut in 2024. The Southlake, Texas, native flipped the field with three boots over 50 yards and pinned the Sun Devils inside the 20-yard two times. This season, White has launched four of his six punts for over 50 yards and boasts an average of 49.3 yards per boot.
The selection marks White’s first appearance on “Ray’s 8” list this season after being named to the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List prior to the season.
Texas A&M opens SEC play against Kentucky on Saturday 2:30 p.m. at Kyle Field on ESPN.
