A three-time first-team All-SEC selection, Taylor ended his career as the Aggies' all-time scoring leader and the first in program history to ever surpass the 2,000-point plateau (2,058 points). He holds eight additional career marks including free throw percentage and double-digit scoring games. All told, Taylor finished his Aggie career with 24 game, season or career school records.
