Tuesday Interviews: Dezz Ricks, T.J. Searcy

I think we're feeling good. There's a lot to fix, but, overall, I think we're definitely feeling good about where we're at. And, you know, you should see a lot of improvement in the next couple of weeks. So I'm really confident in our defense.

It's pretty much just when you get on the field, give everything you got. Because you know as soon as you get a little bit tired, there's somebody else who's fresher can come in and take you right out. I think having that depth just allows you to play as hard as you can every snap, because you know there will be a dude in there regardless.

You play these games and they're meaningful games because every game has meaning and every game has a stage in importance. But the second you throw up an SEC logo on that Monday meeting, you just kind of see everything perk up a little bit and I just think that's the nature of playing in this conference. We don't talk about it like that. I certainly don't tell them it's an SEC game so now we've got to try. But you certainly see the energy in the room change the second that SEC logo goes up on the on the screen in the morning for your Monday morning meeting.
