WACO – The Texas A&M equestrian team was ranked No. 2 in the NCEA Preseason Coaches’ Poll for dual discipline, as announced Wednesday afternoon.
The Aggies return 32 letterwinners from the 2025-26 squad that captured the program’s first SEC championship and finished the year as the national runners-up. Nine newcomers, including eight freshmen and one transfer, join the mix ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
NCEA All-Americans Kate Egan (Flat), Moriah McQueen (Reining) and Grace Shipman (Fences) headline the group of returners, while Ady Kallay returns for her sophomore campaign after earning SEC Freshman Rider of the Year honors for Horsemanship last season.
Fans can get their first look at the 2026-27 squad Friday at the annual Maroon & White scrimmage. Action begins at 3 p.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Admission to all home equestrian meets is FREE.
