COLLEGE STATION – Both Texas A&M swimming & diving teams were ranked in the top 25 of initial 2026-27 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association Top 25 Rankings, which were announced on Friday.
The men’s team was ranked No. 24 while the women’s squad came in at No. 25. Both teams open the 2026-27 season with the TCU Intrasquad at the Rec Center Natatorium on Friday, September 25, at 4 p.m.
Texas A&M has a combined 28 returnees - 15 women and 13 men – and brought in 23 newcomers – 10 women and 13 men. Both teams have eight swimmers or divers with NCAA experience, including the 2026 men’s platform dive national champion Emilio Trevino Laureano.
The CSCAA Top 25 men’s & women’s committees feature 10 Division I coaches on their voting panels. The CSCAA will conduct five Division I Top 25 Polls throughout the 2026-27 season, which will serve as a comprehensive in-season ranking designed to reflect overall team strength, as voters will consider a broad range of results and performances.
