OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. – The No. 16 Texas A&M men’s golf team concluded the Fighting Illini Invitational on Saturday, finishing in 13th at 13-under par.
In the final round of competition, the Aggies were 1-over for the day and shot 281 as a team. For the three-day event, Texas A&M was 13-under as a team, with a three-round total of 827.
On Saturday, the Aggies were led by Aaron Pounds and Wheaton Ennis, who each finished under par. Pounds ended his third round at 2-under while Ennis finished 1-under. The duo shot 6-under for the tournament and tied for 23rd overall. Shiv Parmar was the only other Texas A&M golfer to shoot under par for the event, finishing the three rounds at 2-under par and tying for 51st.
