CARY, N.C. – Kristina Paskauskas and Lexington Reed of the Texas A&M women’s tennis team earned a spot in the quarterfinals at ITA All-American Championships.
No. 34 Paskauskas/Reed defeated No. 5 Alexia Jacobs/Anna-Marie Weissheim of Washington, 6-2, 7-6(5) to win their Round of 16 match. The duo faces No. 17 Rose Marie Nijkamp/Carmen Andreea Herea of Texas on Friday afternoon. The winners earn a spot in the NCAA Doubles Championship tournament in November.
In singles action, No. 49 Paskauskas won her first match in the consolation bracket defeating No. 98 Allegra Korpanec Davies of Florida, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(8). The senior faces off against No. 48 Katie Rolls of Virginia on Friday morning.
