TULSA, Okla. – Texas A&M men’s tennis’ Theo Papamalamis booked his ticket to the NCAA Singles Championships after reaching the ITA All-American Championships Friday at the Case Tennis Center in LaFortune Park.
Papamalamis booked his ticket to the national championships following a come-from-behind victory over Texas’ Tomasz Berkieta. The Longhorn secured the opening frame 6-4, but Papamalamis came storming back with a 6-2 win in the second and ensured the victory with a dominant 6-1 decision in the third to advance to the quarterfinals.
The junior closed his campaign this evening after dropping a matchup with TCU’s Roger Pascual Ferra (6-3, 6-1).
