BATON ROUGE – No. 23 Texas A&M fell to 2-2 on the season after dropping a 35-6 decision to No. 10 LSU Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers took a 14-3 advantage into halftime and never looked back. The Aggies were limited to 197 yards of total offense while LSU compiled 506.
Fifth-year kicker David Olano accounted for all six of the Maroon & White’s points, converting from 24 yards in the first quarter and a career-long 53 yards in the third quarter.
On the defensive side, senior safety Dalton Brooks led the unit with four solo tackles. Senior safety Marcus Ratcliffe contributed his first interception of the season in the third quarter.

- Dilin Jones took a direct snap 1 yard into the end zone to put the Tigers on the board first in the opening quarter.
- The Aggies tallied their first points of the game in the second quarter with a 24-yard field goal by David Olano.
- LSU extended its edge to 14-3 in the final two minutes of the second quarter on a 16-yard touchdown reception by Jackson Harris.
- A 57-yard receiving touchdown from Harris early in the third quarter pushed the Tigers’ advantage to 21-3.
- Landen Clark scored on a 4-yard rush with 6:16 remaining in the third quarter to put LSU ahead by four scores.
- With 3:22 to play in the third quarter, Olano drilled a 53-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 28-6.
- The Tigers sealed the final score at 35-6 following a 2-yard rushing score by Clark.

- Junior wide receiver Mario Craver and graduate wide receiver Isaiah Horton each surpassed 1,500 career receiving yards in the first half.
