Soccer Drops 5-2 Decision to Florida Sunday Afternoon at Ellis Field

    COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M soccer team fell 5-2 against the Florida Gators Sunday afternoon at Ellis Field.

    The Gators (5-3-3, 1-1-2 SEC) mounted a 4-0 halftime advantage with three of the goals coming after the 22nd minute. In the first half, Florida owned a 9-5 advantage in shots and 4-0 in corners.

    Texas A&M (4-7-0, 0-4-0 SEC) was able to get two goals back thanks to Trinity Buchanan’s penalty and individual quality from Norah Bell and Morgan Landry. The final numbers had the Gators outshooting the Aggies 15-13 along with owning a 7-0 margin in corner kicks.
