COLLEGE STATION – First pitch for Texas A&M Softball’s fall opener against Murray State College at Davis Diamond has been moved to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday due to expected inclement weather. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m.
Admission free to Wednesday’s exhibition, and gates to Davis Diamond open at 8:30 a.m. Parking is free at normal gameday lots – 100m and 100e. Concession stands will not be open, but fans may bring their own food and drink.
The Aggies compiled a 38-19 overall record last season and earned a No. 15 national seed in the 2026 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament. Texas A&M returns 10 letterwinners, including first-team All-American Mya Perez and NFCA All-Central Region honorees Sydney Lessentine and Ariel Kowalewski. The Maroon & White also welcomed 16 newcomers, with a freshman class ranked No. 8 nationally and a transfer class considered a consensus top-five haul.
