AUGUSTA, Ga. – Texas A&M punter Tyler White was selected as one of "Ray's 8" for Week 4, as announced by the Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award committee on Monday.
The selection marks White’s second appearance on the “Ray’s 8” list this season after he earned the honor for Week 2. The senior was also named to the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List prior to the season.
In Week 4, White punted seven times for an average of 51.9 yards, including a career-high six punts of 50-plus yards. This season, White has launched 10 of his 15 punts for more than 50 yards and owns a national-leading average of 50.0 yards per punt.
Texas A&M hosts Arkansas on Saturday for a 6 p.m. contest on ESPN2.
