Tuesday Interviews: Noah Mikhail, Wilkin Formby

I think the message right now is, obviously staying together, but just really getting better. Executing better, playing better as a team, as one unit. I think especially defensively, it's execution. We need to execute better. We need to play more together and honestly communicate more...everything. We just need to fix it. The most frustrating thing is we're beating ourselves. We're making self-inflicted errors, self-inflicted mistakes. We're getting them behind the sticks on first and second down and then third down, big play. Boom. So we've just got to fix those self-inflicted errors and I think that will clean up a lot of mistakes we're having.

I didn't come here only in hopes to play tackle. I came here for one, to get developed. And that's something that I've just been thinking about the past couple of days after playing some guard. My coaches just saw a need for me to play guard, and that was the best for our team. And so I'm obviously going to be very cooperative and supportive of their decision. I want to win. That's what I came here for, to get developed and win games. I'm not a selfish player, I'll do whatever it takes to win. So having the opportunity to play both tackle and guard is good.

I think it's a team that's forming its identity with a new staff. I have a lot of respect for Coach Silverfield and what he's done, he ran a really strong program at Memphis. They’re obviously coming off of a really strong victory last week against a Tulsa team that had been playing really good football and so they're certainly going to come in here now with a lot of confidence that they've started to figure things out and are moving in a direction they want to move. It’s a team that's going to give us an awful lot Saturday night for sure.
