COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M soccer team concludes its season-opening, four-game home stretch as the Aggies host the SFA Lady Jacks for a Sunday’s 7 p.m. contest at Ellis Field.

Texas A&M returns to Ellis Field looking to bounce back, after Thursday’s 3-0 loss against No. 19 TCU. The Aggies look to start the game on the front foot, since it’s their last match before conference play begins.
The Maroon & White have received an immediate boost from their freshman class, which has logged 2,848 minutes so far this season. Up front, the freshman duo of Ireland Churchill and Finley Lacher have combined for 16 points and will look to add to that total before conference play begins.
Texas A&M holds a commanding 5-0-1 advantage in the all-time series against SFA. The series began in 1995 with a 10-0 Aggie victory, while the most recent meeting came in 2025, when the sides battled to a scoreless draw in Nacogdoches. Sydney Fuller made four saves to secure the clean sheet, while the Maroon & White controlled the attacking numbers with a 25-9 advantage in shots, including eight attempts on frame.
SFA is 1-5 to begin the season, opening the campaign with a 6-0 victory over Sul Ross State before dropping its next five contests. The Ladyjacks enter College Station for their second matchup against a Power Four opponent this season, having dropped a 3-0 decision against Oklahoma State. Alyce Chappelle leads the attack with two goals, while Kamrynn Davis has emerged as a versatile contributor for SFA on both sides of the ball.
