COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men’s golf checked in at No. 16 in the Bushnell/Golfweek DI Preseason Poll, the publication announced Friday.
This is the Aggies third preseason team ranking ahead of the 2026-27 season. Earlier this week, the men’s golf program was ranked 16th in the preseason Golf Channel rankings while being ranked 18th in the Golfweek Preseason Poll.
Entering his seventh season at the helm of the Aggie Men’s Golf program, head coach Brian Kortan is looking to build off last season’s NCAA Championship appearance, as he returns four of the five players from last year’s NCAA Championship lineup in junior Wheaton Ennis, sophomore Shiv Parmar, senior Aaron Pounds and senior Kris Kuvaas.
Texas A&M is one of 12 SEC programs ranked inside the top 25 of the Bushnell/Golfweek preseason rankings.
The Aggies open their 2026-27 campaign at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup September 14-16 in Frisco, Texas. The event is being played at one of the country's premier courses, PGA Frisco.
