GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The No. 4 Texas A&M women’s golf team will begin its season at the American Dunes Golf Club at the Folds of Honor Collegiate Sept. 7-9.
The Lineup
Leading the way for the Aggies will be Cayetana Fernandez Garcia-Poggio and Vanessa Borovilos, who both finished in the top 20 at last year’s Folds of Honor Collegiate. Last season, Borovilos led the Maroon & White with a 71.06 stroke average, which is the second best in program history, and was a first team All-American. She ranks No. 18 on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR). Fernandez Garcia-Poggio ranks No. 29 on the WAGR and is coming off a season where she recorded four top-five finishes and received All-SEC First Team honors.
Also making the trip to Grand Haven are Emerie Schartz and Louise Reau. Schartz was tabbed as the No. 6 recruit in the 2026 class and is making her collegiate debut. Louise Reau enters her second season with the Aggies and was the two-time Sun Belt Golfer of the Year prior to coming to Aggieland.
Rounding out the five-player lineup is Brynn Kort, who was an All-SEC Freshman Team selection during the 2025-26 campaign and helped lead the team to victory at last year’s Folds of Honor, tying for second and recording her career-best finish.
The Format
Texas A&M plays three rounds Monday-Wednesday with the first 18 set to tee off at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. The first and second rounds will be broadcast on the Golf Channel 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 3:30-6:30 PM. Wednesday’s final round goes live from 10:30 AM-1:30 PM and 3:30-6:30 PM.
