
No. 7 Women’s Golf Opens Spring Slate at Therese Hession Regional Challenge

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. – The No. 7 Texas A&M women's golf team opens its spring campaign at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge with 54 holes of action spread across three days starting Sunday.
Palos Verdes Golf Club serves as host of the tournament. The course plays at par-71 and 6,017 yards.
The Maroon & White enter the spring portion of their season following a historic fall campaign which featured four tournament wins. A fifth victory would tie the program record set during the 2022-23 season.
The Aggies are coming off a win at the Bear Brawl, where they overcame a five-stroke deficit to ultimately top then-No. 15 Baylor by four strokes. The comeback was led by Brynn Kort and Louise Reau who notched a pair of top five finishes, landing in a tie for fourth at even-par 140.
The Lineup
Head coach Gerrod Chadwell is bringing a lineup that is led by the No. 28 ranked player in the nation, Vanessa Borovilos, who posted three top-10 finishes during the fall semester. The group is rounded out by Brynn Kort, Louise Reau, Sky Sudberry and Natalie Yen.
The Format
Texas A&M players tee off Sunday from No. 1 starting at 12:12 p.m. The field is comprised of 16 teams with Ohio State acting as host. Live stats can be followed at scoreboard.clippd.com.
